As a fine artist, Mitsuyo is sensitive to the healing power of the visual art. At age 20, an illness in Japan resulted in two close encounters with death that resulted in heightened intensity of her consciousness of life and spirit. This experience gave her the capacity to channel her creativity together with other artists to bring out the individual’s own healing power.
